V&T Dance is a small studio of dancers dedicated to their instructors and to their art. This tight knit community of young dancers supports one another through classes, intensives, performances, and competitions, to an extent most dance studios can only dream of. Victor and Tatiana Kasatsky, whose lives are completely dedicated to the success of their dancers, work hard to strike a balance between nurturing supportiveness and the firm discipline required to help young dancers achieve their goals. If you are looking for a studio which provides world class dance instruction and motivates dancers to achieve their personal best, while supporting both the spirit and body of the young dancer, V&T Dance is it.
“If you are serious about educating your dancer in the Orange County area, V and T dance should be your first option. Victor and Tatiana Kasatsky are former Moscow Ballet principal dancers who teach Russian classical.
Their approach is hands on, expecting the very best from their kids technically while nurturing a deep connection to the art. V and T also offers hip hop and contemporary to be sure the dancer understands the connection between all forms of dance. The proof is in the results.
Over the years they’ve graduated many many successful dancers who gone on to dance professionally all over the world. i cannot speak more highly of Victor and Tatiana’s Academy, we are so fortunate to have these teachers in our area.”
“V & T Dance offers wonderful ballet training for dancers of all ages. They have a wonderful studio with great viewing opportunities for all classrooms. The classes are professional and provide excellent technique and reinforcement. The performances are wonderful with a holiday Nutcracker and Spring show. Dancers also get exposure into Hip Hop, Contemporary, Character and stretch. Overall excellent dance training!”
“Awesome place! Victor and Tatiana are the best!”
Our three children, two boys (18, 16yo) and a girl (10 yo). We drive 6 days from San Diego to V&T Dance at Laguna Hills for their dance training. Their dance curriculum is the most well-rounded we have seen. Our children have improved tremendously and have given many opportunities to perform. Victor and Tatiana are warm and friendly and understands how to bring out the strengths of each child. Every child receives individual attention. It is truly the top of the world ballet training your child will receive.
Whether your child is college-bound or would like to be a professional dancer, V & T Dance will cater to your child’s needs. They have raised outstanding professional dancers in addition to students who were admitted to top colleges in the world.
My daughter started ballet at V&T when she was ten years old and a little older than the rest of the girls at her level so we weren’t sure how it would go, but in a little over a year she has improved so much thanks to the exceptional teaching of Victor, Tatiana, and Karen. She loves her classes and the girls have been so sweet, she would practically live there if she could! We’ve done two shows with them so far – a Level 1 Spring Showcase and the Nutcracker – and both have been truly exceptional shows; the real deal, not watered down versions. Many of their costumes they’ve brought with them from Russia are exquisite.
The other thing I really love about V&T is the family atmosphere there. The teachers are fun and playful with the kids outside of class and enjoy them as people while also maintaining the discipline and respect within class necessary for their students to grow into professional dancers, which many have. It’s the best of both worlds. The moms I spend many an hour in the waiting room with are wonderful too.
Now my younger daughter, 6yo, is taking classes with Ms. Karen and is participating in Don Quixote this Spring with all the big girls which is *very* exciting for her. I love how hands on Ms. Karen is with the little ones, fixing their feet, their posture, their hand position – she focuses on technique while still keeping it fun for them.
The best part is that very few people know about this place so it’s a relatively small studio where your child can get a lot of personal attention and parts in the shows compared to the commercial ballet farms out there.
