V&T Dance Adult Class General Info

  • Ballet Slippers: You will need a pair, which costs around $25. You can get them online or from local dance stores. We work closely with Dancer’s Choice in Aliso Viejo and also Discount Dance Supply in Mission Viejo. If you’re new to ballet, just tell them you’re an adult student at V&T, and they will help you. Most women wear pink and most men wear black slippers, but feel free to get tan or white. Many slippers models come with elastic bands that need to be sewn on before the first class.
  • Attire: Some adults wear a leotard, tights, and a ballet skirt. Others wear yoga pants/leggings (ankle length or shorter so you don’t trip) and a fitness or regular t-shirt. Just wear something comfortable that will allow you to stretch and bend. The studio can be a bit chilly in the morning, so you may want to bring a sweater, leg warmers, and/or other layers that you can take off as you warm up.
  • Hair: If you have long hair, put it in a bun or ponytail to help keep it out of your eyes.
  • Studio: V&T Dance is at 23601 Ridge Route Drive (near Avenida de la Carlota), Suite A, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. You can’t see our sign from the street, so look for OC Mystery Box or Art & Mirror Center. We’re in that same parking lot, but towards the back.
  • Parking: There is no charge for parking. Park in any available space in front of our studio. As a courtesy to our neighbors, please do not park in any stalls that are directly in of front the entrances of other businesses.
